Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai

Image
T his post is dedicated to introducing my Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai . I have made this podcast with an intention to connect to people through my voice. This is not only a means of sharing my views and stories with the world but is also a medium to talk to myself.   A podcast is a good medium to connect with people as it does not demand the attention of your eyes; all it wants from you is to lend your ears. Often when you are commuting on a bus or in a metro, listening to a podcast can be a great idea: All you need is an earphone and bingo! My Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai has a Trailer as an introduction and episodes that are published from time to time. All the episodes so far have been archived below with dedicated links for one-click listening. Also, it is my humble request to leave your valuable feedback and comments on this post or on my  Instagram page   https://www.instagram.com/neoimaginations/     Twitter handle  Bus Kahani Hai              Latest Episodes Episode 4 : Khidki Ke Baa

New Trigger. Chat Quikr

Image
The new generation of smart Buyers and Sellers have a common meeting point called Quikr. This forum is a one stop kiosk to Buy and Sell all your needs under a single roof of Symbiosis . If you have less space at home to stuff new things, you need not to excuse the thought. Because the forum also caters for selling off your used but valuable items that million others are aspiring to own. So what next ?   Bech Qikr !!! I am an avid user of this wonderful application and proud to admit that some of my best buys are the outcome of Quikr.com  . Recently I came to know that quiker has added yet another useful tool to enable chat between users to communicate with each other at their convenience and request more details about the product or service, without requiring a single phone call. The tool is sure to bring revolution in the field of dealing and negotiation. 3 Reasons Why I would prefer Chat over a Phone Call          1.  Ease of Time : On week days I usually get free by

Yaar Mera Superstar WT Star.

Travelling without ticket is an offence and a social embarrassment too. But meet the superstar of WT world (Without Ticket), Arun Sharma. He is a serial WT traveller. Not that he has a problem buying tickets but he does it for sheer passion. He can be seen very often swinging between Delhi and Jhansi his native place on weekends. The moment he reaches Railway Station his eyes start beaming with enthusiasm to display his talent of ticketless travelling.  He has conquered all big brands  like Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Jan Shatabdi, Sampark Kranti and so on. To my surprise he has travelled all classes ranging from 2 AC to General Compartment without the least fear of being caught and assaulted publicly. He is impeccably dressed and a complete business class looking guy. His confidence is more dominant than a person holding a confirmed ticket for that matter. On few occasions when he travels on officially issued tickets he feels uneasy and cheated. The journey seems borin

Water Phobia

The onset of winters make weather and overhead tank water a natural freezer. This is when India becomes a land of water savers. A season when water is treated either like the auspicious Gangajal or like the dangerous concentrated sulphuric acid.   I have my own experience with a colleague. Those were our bachelor days and we were staying together to share bundles of joy, sorrows and many more on the list. James was his name. A real hardworking guy and gem of a person. James loved winters for many reasons. Through out the year he would curse Delhi but  in winters he would say ' Delhi rocks man !'  As the average temperature touched 20 degree Celsius he would ask me to join for his traditional winter shopping.  A black inner and a jacket was all that he needed to smile in the winters. He never thought of buying two black inners.  "Just one will do" , he would say when I used to insist him for buying another one. This one black inner vest would stick to hi

Road to Exhilaration -- The Drive of Five.

Thank you Ambi Pur for giving me an opportunity to share an eternal road trip of my life. Teach India campaign by Times of India Group gave a blissful opportunity to many middle class educated people to realise their dream of teaching the underprivileged. We are born and then brought up by parents with elaborated educational degrees to grab the best jobs of the world. Eventually when we start earning handsome salaries we realise the importance of education and also the hidden reason why our parents sacrificed their happiness and murdered many of our own happiness in dictating and stressing upon the importance of Education. Not even a year at job and you come to a position where you can apply for a car loan with an EMI that is more than twice the monthly salary of a labourer. Then surely education proves it mettle. As I was working with a firm that was located at a remote corner of Rajasthan State I could not get connected with the campaign through the designated NGOs. B

That Night.. I saw, I Learnt.

The relentless winters of North India was at its pinnacle. I was somewhere crossing MP region to reach New Delhi Railway Station the following morning. A berth in 3AC class of Bangalore Express was the least i wanted for a comfortable sleep at night in the train. But my unplanned journey at short notice only landed me in a non-AC Sleeper class compartment. The windows of the train never closed completely to their capacities making room for the cruel cold waves to run inside and make the coach a freezer. The opening of doors at frequent stations only added to my woes. It was the coldest journey i was ever making.                                                           At an unknown small station i got down off the train to find a hot cup of tea  to warm my palms at the least. I could nt find the name of the railway Station because it was too foggy and the night was  jet dark. With Gods grace i found the usual Chaiwala ( Tea vendor ) and comforted myself with the h

Delhi -- Yeh Dilli hai meri jaan.

"Delhi" is etched in me like a soul in body. A place i find completely mystical and worth adoring. Its in the year 2005, when i got my first opportunity to come in contact with this vibrant and vivid place. It was my official stay for a period of good six months and i remember sharing some of my warmest associations with the city and the myriad reasons why i am so fondly in love with this place. Since then i have never missed a single chance to revisit Delhi. The only city that talks to people. Trust me Delhi speaks to you. It has a soul. It understands you. You got to have a clear need in your mind and Delhi would ensure that it reaches you violating all pragmatic platforms. I have experienced this feeling and also believe there are many other Delhi Deewane, although staying at places far away from Delhi but miss that "talk to me feel" of this city.                                    I was blessed for having been staying in South Delhi.
