T his post is dedicated to introducing my Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai . I have made this podcast with an intention to connect to people through my voice. This is not only a means of sharing my views and stories with the world but is also a medium to talk to myself.   A podcast is a good medium to connect with people as it does not demand the attention of your eyes; all it wants from you is to lend your ears. Often when you are commuting on a bus or in a metro, listening to a podcast can be a great idea: All you need is an earphone and bingo! Tickle your child's Imagination- #colgatemagicalstories

Children have a world of their own - A world that is pure, innocent and playful ! I enjoy when my son narrates me his own imaginative stories that have no relevance or purpose and yet sound so funny and de-stressing. I love him for that. It shows his innocent world to me where things are beautiful and lovable. According to him a home lizard smacking on an insect is about lizard kissing the baby insect and that perspective sends me into a laughter frenzy. I love to hear similar stuffs from him when i get an opportunity. I question him like a baby and he comes out with his own imaginary answers to which we laugh a plenty. I understand that my baby loves to see me laughing and he makes sure to give me enough reasons all day long. As  parents we need to pamper our children to be more imaginative and creative in thought. Laundry Goes Odd Even- An initiative by Ariel

We learn what we see and we follow it without questions. The routine becomes a universal law, a law that we never even try to test or challenge. We have grown up seeing our mother doing the laundry of the house. A daily chore where she never expected anyone else to help her with and neither did other members of the family felt the need to offer her a helping hand. That became a universal norm.  Traditionally the daily chores have been divided on the basis of physical efforts and strength required to do the job. So those activities that needed more physical strength and endurance came to men and women were tasked to do things that were comparatively less straining. In that perspective, the laundry task seems to be an exception or say a complete misfit. It requires an enormous amount of physical strength and endurance to do laundry yet it fell to women. In the Bargain of Impression

All our life we struggle hard to build impressions on people around us. Sometimes even a right course of action can fetch you a wrong bite of impression. It may mean something you never meant actually.  Impressions are mostly perception based and hence more complex to deal with and still we do not think twice before sacrificing so much on something that is so  short lived and so volatile -- ''Impression''.  Is it our false appetite for glorification by others ?  Or our dark needs are at stake ? Nevertheless we are addicted to creating impressions. We fake ourselves for liking something we actually don't like. We fake ourselves for committing something to we don't stand by. The soul reeks within and we tire more than the efforts, the labour we made and all just in an attempt to make an impression.  But it is a fast world, everything refreshes itself. Railway Diaries

We Indians have an incessant inevitable relationship with Railways. Our happiness and sorrows both pass through the labyrinth of the railway tracks. I have faced my most emotional moments standing on the platform of railway stations across the length and breadth of our country. It was just day before yesterday when a friend of mine shared a picture on his facebook wall in which two Indian soldiers where  travelling by sleeping next to the toilets in absence of reserved berths. The gentleman TTE of the coach obliged to people who paid him hot in return for the adjustment of available vacant berths and those two soldiers did not fit into his criteria of business.  So they were destined to acquire the floor space with two attached toilets and two doors on either side. Yes ! I mean the place near the toilets.  The post abused the  Railways for not respecting and helping enough the men who not only sacrifice their lives on the borders but also surprise the people of the country during

Good Morning to Gold Morning

Morning is undoubtedly the best part of the day. Your morning often has a clue about how the whole day would last for you. It is extremely important how you manage your morning so that it gives you the temperament and aura to turn it into a gold morning. For me an ideal morning starts a little before the sunrise takes place. A late wake up often results in a a hurried day that kills a lot of magic the day has to offer. I plan to get up early and the first thing I do is brush my teeth so that I become fit to drink plenty of water with honey and lime juice. After completing my routines I take a relaxed bath and offer morning prayers. I usually take banana and a handful of dry fruits such as almonds,walnut and resin along with a glass of milk.
