Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai

Image
T his post is dedicated to introducing my Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai . I have made this podcast with an intention to connect to people through my voice. This is not only a means of sharing my views and stories with the world but is also a medium to talk to myself.   A podcast is a good medium to connect with people as it does not demand the attention of your eyes; all it wants from you is to lend your ears. Often when you are commuting on a bus or in a metro, listening to a podcast can be a great idea: All you need is an earphone and bingo! My Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai has a Trailer as an introduction and episodes that are published from time to time. All the episodes so far have been archived below with dedicated links for one-click listening. Also, it is my humble request to leave your valuable feedback and comments on this post or on my  Instagram page   https://www.instagram.com/neoimaginations/     Twitter handle  Bus Kahani Hai              Latest Episodes Episode 4 : Khidki Ke Baa

Am your Friend but with a Guilt

Life would have been easy if heart and mind echoed each other. But the very problem is that both seldom work in tandem and love to contradict most of the times. That is when the situation becomes tough to tackle and we end up doing things that we either adore or repent later.                       Here is a story of Biju and Anvesh, who were closest of the friends but things changed that evening for ever between them. Both were class V students, studying in KV Coimbatore  in the year 1996 and were fast friends. The story is written in Biju s voice to reduce the vicarious factor.             It was evening 5 pm and as Anvesh's father just returned from Chennai . Anvesh called me (Biju)  up and asked me to come home. I walked the stone throw away distance playing football with the pebbles on the road. As i greeted Uncle and Aunty, Anvesh took me to his room to show something exciting he had. I was awestruck when i saw beautiful

GWALIOR SHILP MELA 2013

It was my rapacious desire to present Gwalior Shilp Mela through my lens. As am counting my fag end days  in Gwalior clicking this vibrant, colorful and photogenic fair was simply inevitable. I chose slanting sun (post afternoon hrs) to visit this historical mela. The feel of this shilp mela is great and you can find a variety of handicrafts made through generations displayed for sale and exhibition. Artist from all over the country participate in  Shilp Mela to make it one of the most sought after places in Gwalior. I personally feel it is poorly promoted by Madhya Pradesh Tourism. It deserves much better crowds and visitors. So am doing my bit to respect the art and skill of those million people who work hard all over the years to bring this spectacular show before us. The photographs are my own hard clicked snaps to give you an eagle eye view of the fair. I hope the peep through my lens would excite you enough to make it a trip to Gwalio

Delhi -- Yeh Dilli hai meri jaan.

"Delhi" is etched in me like a soul in body. A place i find completely mystical and worth adoring. Its in the year 2005, when i got my first opportunity to come in contact with this vibrant and vivid place. It was my official stay for a period of good six months and i remember sharing some of my warmest associations with the city and the myriad reasons why i am so fondly in love with this place. Since then i have never missed a single chance to revisit Delhi. The only city that talks to people. Trust me Delhi speaks to you. It has a soul. It understands you. You got to have a clear need in your mind and Delhi would ensure that it reaches you violating all pragmatic platforms. I have experienced this feeling and also believe there are many other Delhi Deewane, although staying at places far away from Delhi but miss that "talk to me feel" of this city.                                    I was blessed for having been staying in South Delhi.
