Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai

Image
T his post is dedicated to introducing my Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai . I have made this podcast with an intention to connect to people through my voice. This is not only a means of sharing my views and stories with the world but is also a medium to talk to myself.   A podcast is a good medium to connect with people as it does not demand the attention of your eyes; all it wants from you is to lend your ears. Often when you are commuting on a bus or in a metro, listening to a podcast can be a great idea: All you need is an earphone and bingo! My Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai has a Trailer as an introduction and episodes that are published from time to time. All the episodes so far have been archived below with dedicated links for one-click listening. Also, it is my humble request to leave your valuable feedback and comments on this post or on my  Instagram page   https://www.instagram.com/neoimaginations/     Twitter handle  Bus Kahani Hai              Latest Episodes Episode 4 : Khidki Ke Baa

Janta Maaf Nahi Karegi : Humour

With Lok Sabha Polls just around the corner, Major Political Parties are leaving no stone unturned to give people a mouthful laugh before they again take them for a five year ride. First came the Youngress Advertisement with Flyover kaha gaya and Metro Kaha gaya hullabaloo. Then came another trump card about rural housing plan and Employment Scheme Advertisement, where people were singing in symphony for the prosperity of food, shelter and modernization in Youngress Raj. Youngress glorified their past so emphatically that even Kalmadi was taken aback. People were happy for Youngress atleast gave a final respite through these funny videos running randomly between Behenji serials and Cricket matches alike. Considerable amount of rocket science was applied to make these ads win people s heart. But all they won was people s laughter and anger. These Ads again reminded the poor Janta what they have been denied all these years.

An inch of life.

This post is  selected as Tangy Tuesday Pick by Blogadda. "An inch of life I lost, when I made myself fit to live. In an act of co-existence, I lost what I am."  In a world of compromises we are fit to live if we know to kill  an inch of life in us. This compromise is a new way of life. The diplomacy to agree without true agreement is the new agreement of a successful life. If you speak your raw mind you are a complete misfit. So all we do is speak a more synthetic mind. A processing of our true raw mind into something that is more acceptable to others no matter how unacceptable it may seem to you.   Compromises are as rampant as polythene bags. We dislike but we still use. Remember the last time you were totally in disagreement with your boss decision but you still nodded a cheerful yes because speaking otherwise would have cost you your dear job. After all you run a family and not a moral school to be speaking moral science. The  more you agree with

Twelve months have passed and it’s the end of those several days, We make our first, yeah our first anniversary day. A walk over those many weeks, I see how we bridged those broken ways. The walk was not smooth but was tough and testing ways. It is our efforts and will to stay together, that brought this day We promise to abide by what we have learnt in those several days. Thank you sweetheart for finally making it happen this way. Without our love and efforts this would never be the day. As I write this post, I can see you and our baby sleeping comfortably with both his arms wide stretched. I know nothing compares to this eternal feeling. We the trio makes it a heaven s den. The giggle of our baby and our own conversations make it a home sweet home. But when I turn back the pages of my old diaries I see what not we did to make it happen this way, our way. It is not about the saga of troubles and hardships that we faced and fought with to buy this lif

A Shade of Life

I just sneaked out through the curtains of my bedroom to see if it was too hot to go out.  All I saw was this beautiful scene through my window. Two tired women labourers having a siesta on the construction site after hard laborious work for hours before lunch. As the sun was straight up, all they could manage was a little shade of the adjacent building. Atleast the dead building had some alive mercy for them. All day they fill concrete mortar with the spades lying next to them and carry it to build houses that they would never inhabit. Once the construction gets over the security guard would not even allow them to stand outside its gate to admire their own sweat and blood.   They would be clearly outcasted from its premises. The people who would enjoy the luxuries and comforts of this apartment building would not let these poor women to even enjoy an eye full sight of the legacy they built baking under heat and dust. These women would go into oblivion on the very first day the
