Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai

Image
T his post is dedicated to introducing my Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai . I have made this podcast with an intention to connect to people through my voice. This is not only a means of sharing my views and stories with the world but is also a medium to talk to myself.   A podcast is a good medium to connect with people as it does not demand the attention of your eyes; all it wants from you is to lend your ears. Often when you are commuting on a bus or in a metro, listening to a podcast can be a great idea: All you need is an earphone and bingo! My Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai has a Trailer as an introduction and episodes that are published from time to time. All the episodes so far have been archived below with dedicated links for one-click listening. Also, it is my humble request to leave your valuable feedback and comments on this post or on my  Instagram page   https://www.instagram.com/neoimaginations/     Twitter handle  Bus Kahani Hai              Latest Episodes Episode 4 : Khidki Ke Baa

God is Laughing.

It was just break of the day, a dawn i mean. The sun had not shown full on the horizon. Just a sneak and peek look. A woman comes in a jiffy to pluck yellow flowers from  a bush that only had those two blossoms for the day. She stole its magic and left secretly. Another woman entered the scene in a hurry but with confusion. She felt guilty of being two minutes late and walked away with a hanging face. Minutes later an old man just after his morning bath came up to the bush but only plucked some leaves in absence of flowers.  This is the drama I enjoy every morning from my balcony. The devotees struggling to please God every morning. But more than the ritual of their actual prayers, I think the God enjoys the flower drill more. The bush also supports the drama by never giving more than four to five flowers a day to end the struggle of innocent worshipers. When these people come out for post dinner walk on the street they secretly scan the buds that would bear flowers the

Confessions of a Regular Lottery Winner.

Image
I am a born lottery winner. As if the whole world is suddenly conspiring to make me the richest breathing man on earth. Everyday the delight of finding e mails conveying my million million dollar lottery wins has crossed all limits of euphoria. Why I am still working in the first place ? Never bought a single lottery ticket in my life and here I am flooded with solicitation requests to claim my winning amounts in dollars. I am randomly the luckiest  soul on earth . Every lottery Kingpin has a moral obligation to make me one of their winners. There is a stiff competition in the international market to shower dollars on me. I wonder if my bank would ever have the space to accommodate my dollar goodies.  But i am a lazy soul so I don't furnish my details and skip the mails. But my lottery patrons never get annoyed or demoralized. They either send me reminder mails to claim the prize money or proliferate even more lotteries on my name. The motive is to make me rich and  moti

ABCD of Being Right or Wrong !

Image
This post is a Tangy Tuesday pick by BlogAdda.com   "  A world of right and wrong. A world of being good and bad , a world of sin and deeds; I am in search of a world, beyond being right or wrong. Beyond categories, beyond preferences and beyond moral validations." Every night I go into a trance judging my own actions and decisions made over the day. It's a vast world and I am not the centre of this universe. I do my own rights and wrongs. Sometimes, I do things considering it as right and then with time I vet it as wrong or the vice versa. This is a regular process which everybody is going through. Judging themselves. Justifying themselves. But is that a solution to the internal war of mind and heart? There are actions that are right and there are actions that are wrong. But is there anything that is beyond the ambit or realm of being right or wrong? Is there a world beyond these two categories? And if the answer is no, then there should be one such world.

A Walk to Remember.

The board examinations just got over and me being a book worm had nothing to do better. During the examination time, i kept convincing myself to burn nights at the pretext that i would sleep endlessly for days. But sooner the exams got over my lost sleeps too did not knock the door. TV did the best distractions all through the exams but after the tempest, it too had nothing to offer. Completely bored to death i walked to a friend staying nearby, named Nikhil (SRK look alike).  Nikhil was a casual secret smoker. As i reached him that late afternoon, we went to a grocery shop nearby. He bought a cigarette for himself and a chewing gum for me. I had a Rs 10 note in my pocket and with that we both started walking the adjacent railway track behind the grocery shop. It was almost 5 pm and quite shady. I dont remember how long we walked that day because we were so much lost in our own conversations about girls and prospective careers.
