Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai

Image
T his post is dedicated to introducing my Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai . I have made this podcast with an intention to connect to people through my voice. This is not only a means of sharing my views and stories with the world but is also a medium to talk to myself.   A podcast is a good medium to connect with people as it does not demand the attention of your eyes; all it wants from you is to lend your ears. Often when you are commuting on a bus or in a metro, listening to a podcast can be a great idea: All you need is an earphone and bingo! My Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai has a Trailer as an introduction and episodes that are published from time to time. All the episodes so far have been archived below with dedicated links for one-click listening. Also, it is my humble request to leave your valuable feedback and comments on this post or on my  Instagram page   https://www.instagram.com/neoimaginations/     Twitter handle  Bus Kahani Hai              Latest Episodes Episode 4 : Khidki Ke Baa

Women Welcome Wello

Source: Google Images There are people who react to others pain by feeling sorry and compassionate, a next set of people do not even realize the pain of others at the first place. But then there is a small chunk of people who walk miles ahead of merely realizing the pain but also work towards alleviating the pain and making lives comfortable for millions. We all have seen images of rural Rajasthan women carrying water pots over their heads to miles down their home. Some of us have even been luckier to see those burdened women with direct eyes. But seldom do we realize the trouble and pain experienced by them. A nation that is technologically competent enough to produce its own indigenous Radars, Aircrafts and advance Missiles fails to think anything creative to bring a sigh of relief to those poor rural girls. We have no issues in seeing them like that. The Plight : A majority of us don't think twice before turning on a faucet and seeing potable water p

Thank you Ambi Pur for giving me an opportunity to share an eternal road trip of my life. Teach India campaign by Times of India Group gave a blissful opportunity to many middle class educated people to realise their dream of teaching the underprivileged. We are born and then brought up by parents with elaborated educational degrees to grab the best jobs of the world. Eventually when we start earning handsome salaries we realise the importance of education and also the hidden reason why our parents sacrificed their happiness and murdered many of our own happiness in dictating and stressing upon the importance of Education. Not even a year at job and you come to a position where you can apply for a car loan with an EMI that is more than twice the monthly salary of a labourer. Then surely education proves it mettle. As I was working with a firm that was located at a remote corner of Rajasthan State I could not get connected with the campaign through the designated NGOs. B

The relentless winters of North India was at its pinnacle. I was somewhere crossing MP region to reach New Delhi Railway Station the following morning. A berth in 3AC class of Bangalore Express was the least i wanted for a comfortable sleep at night in the train. But my unplanned journey at short notice only landed me in a non-AC Sleeper class compartment. The windows of the train never closed completely to their capacities making room for the cruel cold waves to run inside and make the coach a freezer. The opening of doors at frequent stations only added to my woes. It was the coldest journey i was ever making.                                                           At an unknown small station i got down off the train to find a hot cup of tea  to warm my palms at the least. I could nt find the name of the railway Station because it was too foggy and the night was  jet dark. With Gods grace i found the usual Chaiwala ( Tea vendor ) and comforted myself with the h

With the advent of internet and mobile phones, communication has become as easy as a breath. Meagre press of a fast dial button on your cellphone and you are talking to a person who is thousands of miles away. And as if the voice was just not enough for  "the Dil Mange More" generation, we brought in super apps to cross all barriers of communications. You can hear, text and also see people  in real time.    The last time my French friend Jean Jack Radi came to India, he got serious addiction to Indian food. I still remember he used to talk at length about the variety of Indian cuisines and the parallel intoxication he achieves out of it. Though we had professional relationship but a thing or two about this man, almost my father s age  tempted me to befriend him outside the professional sphere. I was a bachelor then but my love for food kept me at close affair with my kitchen. I invited him for a lunch party at home the next day. Radi warmly accepted the invitation and said he would join me with a bottle of Bordeaux Rose Wine. I smiled back at him indicating that it would be a perfect party. The next day  as we say became a history. I made him my special Hyderabadi Dum Biriyani and mint Raita. We started with the bottle of wine and never ending conversation that lasted even longer than the food and dessert.                                                Six months from then I m i

I love you for infinite reasons...

I am for you and you are for me, we knew this right from the first day of our formal interaction. At this crucial stage of life I am 6000 miles away from you but its my call and i don't have a choice. Sorry for i m not with you. Even more sorry for the reason that your people and my people are not there with you. It was supposed to be like this but we have the art of survival and that too a happy one so we will sail until we reach the destiny of togetherness. Its just a testing time and we ll have some more to sail through. One day on the horizon we ll see a sun as bright as our hopes and a moon as calm as our patience. That day the day will be more bright and the night little more cool. I have a faith, a faith that is unconditional, just like our love.                                          ---- Dedicated to my sweet wife surviving in the summer of India.
