Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai

Image
T his post is dedicated to introducing my Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai . I have made this podcast with an intention to connect to people through my voice. This is not only a means of sharing my views and stories with the world but is also a medium to talk to myself.   A podcast is a good medium to connect with people as it does not demand the attention of your eyes; all it wants from you is to lend your ears. Often when you are commuting on a bus or in a metro, listening to a podcast can be a great idea: All you need is an earphone and bingo! My Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai has a Trailer as an introduction and episodes that are published from time to time. All the episodes so far have been archived below with dedicated links for one-click listening. Also, it is my humble request to leave your valuable feedback and comments on this post or on my  Instagram page   https://www.instagram.com/neoimaginations/     Twitter handle  Bus Kahani Hai              Latest Episodes Episode 4 : Khidki Ke Baa

#WashBucketChallenge

As the various civilizations evolved around the world, the rule of fittest to survive shaped the life style and responsibility in social life. Task that were physically tough in nature were shared by men where as the ones that needed patience and relatively less physical strength were taken up by women with few exceptions of course.  But it is difficult to understand why the task of doing laundry predominantly fell to women only. Being a healthy man I myself find it difficult and tiring doing the laundry. All though washing machines have added convenience but still the mere thought of washing clothes can make one tired.  I am thankful that my upbringing at home was such that as men we were always encouraged to do laundry as and when possible. I developed this task as a way of life and  as a to-do point of weekend task. After my marriage, I educated my wife about precautions and washing care for different types of fabric. The cotton whites are to be respected the most with utmost

Missed Call Mania

Mobile phones have been the greatest revolution in the era of communication. The complete world has become a neighborhood. You might be in India and still remain in 24 hrs contact with a friend in Sydney through calls or chat and that too at a cost of a burger. Thanks to apps like Whatsapp ! The continents are just a ping away. Life is close, simple and convenient.  With the advent of mobile phones came the most affordable means of communication called "Missed Call". A missed call only meant the call that went unattended. But that just remained a terminology. And Missed calls kept touching different sections of society in different manners and finally took a form of a language that is understood by different users with their own different meanings.  In 2003, when calls were expensive and we were poor students, a missed call had  meanings like I am waiting outside your house or meet me at the bus stop. It was a means of virtually knocking a friends door with

If holidaying is all about eating, shopping and exploring, then Singapore is a sure paradise for you.  Singapore has a variety of cuisines to tease your taste buds and indulge into sinful eating. From serene hotels to calm beaches, from bustling shopping malls to enticing eat streets, from romantic coffee shops to beautiful countrysides; Singapore has it all ! If eating, shopping and drinking is your idea of a perfect holiday, then this is where you should swipe your magnetic cards.   My personal favorite is Singaporean Chicken Rice. A complete meal that can be savored anytime of the day. A dish consisting of steamed  rice and slices of juicy tender chicken. The steamed rice is drizzled with a generous amount of sweet dark sauce and the chicken dressed in chilli sauce makes a lethal combination. A dollop of minced ginger on top of it adds the remaining flavour to satiate all your taste buds at once.  Singaporean Chicken Rice     I know words are hard to believ
